One man to hospital after alleged assault

A MAN was taken to Warwick Base Hospital with minor injuries after an alleged assault at 1.19am Sunday in the town of Warwick.

A Queensland Ambulance Service media spokesman said the Warwick man was transported to hospital from a private residence in a stable condition.

"The alleged assault was not at the private residence,” he said.

Police were not called to the scene.

A spokeswoman for Warwick Hospital said the man was reviewed by a doctor and discharged.
