WANTED man Oliver Bridgeman has again been active on video-sharing sites, this time posting footage in which he claims he was nearly attacked in Syria.

An arrest warrant is current for Mr Bridgeman and his visa was cancelled by the Federal Government in February.

Despite that, the Toowoomba teenager has remained seemingly upbeat, posting a video of his struggle during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.

In a video entitled "NEARLY GOT ATTACKED IN SYRIA!" Mr Bridgeman is shown walking through arid country near a refugee camp in the war-torn country.

He said he was startled by stray dogs and nearly attacked.

"I'm touring an open pit here in a refugee camp and I came across some dogs," he said.

"As soon as I was climbing on the rock they startled me."

There are thousands of stray dogs in Syria and rabies remains a major health issue in the country.

Mr Bridgeman, a Muslim convert, told of his plans to work out in the gym despite the weather being hot and it being Ramadan.

During the holy month Muslims refrain from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking, and engaging in sexual relations between dawn until sunset.

It's not the first close call Mr Bridgeman has had in the country.

In January this year he narrowly avoided being hit by a Russian bomb during an airstrike.

He was seen in February wandering around the ruins of Aleppo after another bombing raid.

Mr Bridgeman is suspected by authorities of committing offences against Australian laws prohibiting "incursions into foreign countries with the intention of engaging in hostile activities".

The warrant means officers will have extra powers to intercept Mr Bridgeman and he can be flagged internationally as a wanted person.
