Officer arrested for not leaving pub

A POLICE officer was arrested on the weekend after allegedly refusing to leave a pub even after being told to move on by his own colleagues.

About 2.15am Sunday police were called to a hotel in Kent Street, Sydney following reports of a disruptive male.

A 38-year-old senior constable was charged with "excluded person remain in the vicinity".

He will front court on September 24.
