Red card for TV channel's decision to go offline
LETTER OF THE DAY: This is directed at the RBS company. Thank you so much for putting SBS off air for 24 hours and more. May I be bold enough to ask why this was scheduled when the World Cup is on?
This comes around once every four years, no notice that SBS will be off air or for how long.
After many phone calls and finally tracking down the company at 7.30pm, I received a call from the manager, as regards my complaint to SBS, re: no signal, his message was that it was not meant to be off today (Wednesday, June 18).
Had I not persevered the viewers supplied through Toowoomba East Transmitter would probably still not be receiving a signal.

And if work has to be carried out please not when a major event such as the World Cup is on!
