NRL legends visit Gladstone to spruik pay TV service

SOME of the NRL's most well-known names will be in Gladstone on Thursday to spruik a new service being offered by Foxtel.

Allan Langer, Kevin Walters, Mat Rogers, Scott Prince and Michael Crocker will help launch Foxtel's Accommodation Platinum package at the HomeGround accommodation village at Calliope.

The package offers workers staying at the village access to more than 80 channels.

The NRL legends will play a game of touch football with local children, followed by a barbecue dinner.

HomeGround Gladstone was built to cater for some of the thousands of workers who have descended on the region to work on resources projects.

It houses more than 2000 workers.
