Not something these kids see every day

HAVING an awesome day out at the Brisbane Truck Show was eight-year-old Michael Boyd and his six-year-old brother Charlie, who had made the long trip to Brisbane from Ulladulla on the New South Wales south coast.

With mum Sarah and dad Colin, the family were looking at spending two days checking out all the new trucks on display.

"They are eager to go and test a few out. They like checking out all the trucks,” said Sarah.

Operating Boyd's Haulage as an owner-driver business, Colin has spent 25 years on the road and operates a Scania on general freight.

The family were making their third trip up to the show.

One of the highlights of the trip for the boys had taken place out on the Brisbane River adjacent to the BCEC.

"They did a bit of truck spotting and saw the barge with the UD Trucks out on the river - that's not something they see every day!” Sarah said.
