No slouches on couches: Netflix's Binge Racers revealed
THINK you're a binge Netflix viewer?
Well meet these crazy Americans who are watching an entire series not over a week or weekend - but in less than a day.
Netflix says there are 8.4 million members who have gone on a Binge Race to complete a series within 24 hours of its release.
Little wonder the content giant has huge bills to keep up with the demand.
TV junkies can't get enough of Stranger Things, Narcos, Fuller House, The Seven Deadly Sins it seems.
Between 2013 and 2016 the number of launch day finishers increased more than 20 times over.
There's a Netflix member in Australia who has raced 13 times this year (12th globally).
And before you assume that racers are just basement-dwelling couch potatoes, Netflix claims these are super fans.
They're TV professionals and their speed of watching is an 'achievement to be proud of and brag about'.
