New CEO comes to the Rural Health Alliance
THE National Rural Health Alliance have appointed a new CEO to see to the clinical work properly.
Dr Gabrielle O'Kane has been awarded the position, due to her past experience being a dietician with more than 35 years working in outback private and public practices.

Dr O'Kane is also an academic and researcher, with the title being an adjunct associate professor at the University of Canberra's Health Research Institute.
During this recent position, she has been responsible for commissioning and governing drug and alcohol services throughout New South Wales.
NRHA Chair Tanya Lehmann is looking forward to Dr O'Kane coming on board from July 8.

NRHA believe Dr O'Kane's employment comes at a perfect time, providing guidance to the 37-member organisations spanning from this alliance, who are working in rural, regional and remote Australia.
