New art exhibition showcases local art

FOLLOWING another successful Stanthorpe Art Prize, the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery will begin Canvas & Clay Collection Revisited this Friday, showcasing the great work of our local artists.

Artists Maryke Miller and Laurie Astill display works which represent how two artists complement each other with their skills, sense of fun and the way in which they continually reinvent themselves as artists.

Dean Ford mirrors his love for life through his large scale paintings which envelop the viewer to create a dynamic impression.

Helen Dennis focuses on the events within her local rural community as the social, cultural and emotional connectedness within the town changes.

Come along and support these skilled artists. Enjoy the diversity, beauty and wonder of art.
