AFTER splitting yet another Greater Brisbane League (GBL) series, the Ipswich Musketeers have yet to unleash their true potential.

However, it's only a matter of time until the new-look Ipswich side starts winning back-to-back games and series according to Musketeers, Bandits and Australian representative player Andrew Campbell.

"When all the imports get in, they should dominate,'' Campbell said.

The Musketeers beat Windsor 5-4 in Sunday afternoon's latest GBL game, after losing 4-3 at Tivoli on Friday night.

"We played a really good game on Friday,'' Campbell said. "A couple of mistakes just kind of snowballed for us.

"In both games, we had majority ABL (Australian Baseball League) pitching.''

Campbell played in both weekend games before refocusing on his Bandits 2018/19 season commitments.

As Campbell prepared to play national league the next few months, he backed the influx of international imports to get the job done for Ipswich in coming weeks.

Among those was left-handed Canadian pitcher Fernando Fernandez-Beltran who started in Sunday's win and kept the Windsor batters in check for six innings.

"He did really well,'' long-serving Musketeers outfielder Campbell said.

Musketeers' next opponents are cellar-dwellers Surfers Paradise at Mudgeeraba on Friday night and Sunday.

Musketeers are two spots higher on the GBL table with three wins and four losses.

Muskets also have some washed out games in hand.
