Murder thriller is sure to enthrall

BATS Theatre Co Inc presents Night Must Fall, with delightfully dark characters written by Emlyn Williams and directed by David Wilson. Experience the chills and thrills that this classic psychological study holds in store.

"Your Name is Dora, Dora Parkoe. You work as a maid in the household of a Mrs Bramson, a bitter, fussy, self-pitying elderly woman, who resides in a remote part of Essex, with her intelligent yet subdued niece, Olivia. You don't like Mrs Bramson who spends all her time complaining while sitting in a wheelchair.

"One day, you reveal to Mrs Bramson that you are pregnant. Mrs Bramson considers firing you, but then decides to persuade the father of Dora's unborn child to marry you. The father turns out to be a suave, handsome young man named Dan.

"Dan is a bellhop in the Tallboys Hotel. Dan is an intelligent young man. He is a cool and calculating liar and greatly skilled at improvising. He is very observant and has an uncanny ability to read people. Dan remains very indifferent to you right to the end of the play."
