MULTI-TALENTED David Mann drives a golden oldie 1989 model Hino FF177 Diesel for Sun City Trees of Townsville.
During seven years with the company, David has lopped trees in thousands of properties and is especially busy during the tropical cyclone season.
That was evident when a tornado hit four Townsville suburbs in March and David and his workmates were run off their feet.
"I went home and thought I had a few days off but got a call that we were needed because trees were down everywhere and it was full on," he said.
Not only does David drive the Hino around, once he gets to a job he also controls the Bobcat.
On the job Big Rigs saw David at, the yard was moist after heavy rain and David had to tie a rope to huge tree trunks and branches and pull them to the mulcher at the back of the Hino.
"It is a great job and the Hino is very reliable," he said.
The 30-year-old David is well-liked by his work mates and wouldn't want any other job.
