MP brunch highlights importance of local support services

LAST week Federal MP Luke Hartsuyker visited local organisation CHESS Employment for an open discussion on the important role of employment and community services.

Mr Hartsuyker was treated to a short film festival highlighting success stories of people within the community who have overcome disadvantage and embraced opportunity through the support of employment and community service organisations.

CHESS Employment CEO Paul Kelly organised and hosted the brunch.

"We wanted to showcase the great work socially minded organisations like CHESS are doing in the community in supporting local people and local business,” Mr Kelly said.

"Visual storytelling is a very effective and fun way to engage others in what we do, showing the real life-changing benefits of our services.”
