Motorway mayhem as truck crashes into car

EMERGENCY services have rushed to a two-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Motorway this morning.

Paramedics were called to the crash at Coolum Beach, where a truck reportedly crashed into a 4WD, about 8am, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the 4WD was hit at low-speed impact, sending the truck off the side of the road.

Four people were assessed at the scene, but none required ambulance transport.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has advised lanes are reduced and traffic is delayed northbound towards Noosa.

Motorists are being urged to proceed with caution.
