Motorist's lucky escape after hit with debris from truck

DASH cam footage has revealed a motorist's lucky escape after a truck spilled it's load after hitting a restricted height bridge.

The driver of the car took to the Dash Cam Owners Australia's Facebook page to share his anger at the driver of the truck.

"Driving along innocently to work and the truck on my left clearly didn't read the numerous signs approaching the rail bridge advising him of the bridge height and that his load wouldn't fit," the drive wrote to the page.

According to media reports, the incident left the car with a shattered windscreen and a person hospitalised in the Melbourne suburb of Newmarket.

The footage shows a heavy object flying from the truck and onto a passing car.

Victorian Ambulance told media paramedics "treated on person who was taken to hospital in a stable condition".
