Motorcycles stolen from Paget business
A PAIR of motorcycles worth more than $30,000 have been stolen from a business in Paget.
Police allege the two motorcycles, a red 2018 model Z900RS Kawasaki and a blue 2006 model SV1000 Suzuki, were stolen between 9pm April 30 and 6.30am May 1 from the business on Centurion Dr.
The business was broken into via the perimeter fence line, which was damaged. Then a locked door was forced open.
The motorcycles had keys in the ignition, according to police, and thieves made attempts to steal two more motorcycles but were unsuccessful.
The motorcycles were ridden from the address and have not yet been found, although police said a member of the public did report a suspect sighting of the motorcycles in Beaconsfield in the early morning of May 1, riding dangerously, with one rider not wearing a helmet.
Anyone who knows anything about this incident or the current whereabouts of the stolen motorcycle, is asked to contact police and quote police report number QP1800791302.
Police encourage all businesses who store car keys on site to consider keeping them in a secure location away from their respective vehicles.
