More jobs in CBD 'than ever before'

THE letter by G Reid of Raceview (18/10) just goes to show that you can't please everyone and just how short some people's memories are.

The CBD is in a far better position now than it was 15 years ago.

There are more jobs and opportunities than ever before.

If there weren't then why are there new developments such as the one in the old TAFE building and the redevelopment of the former Big White's property?

All this is on top of the new towers that have been built in the central area.

Your attack on Andrew Antoniolli is unfounded and may I say that I'd rather put my faith in the vision of someone who has a passion and commitment for this city than someone who prefers to live in Brisbane.
