Mercedes Corby suing Federal Police over money seize attempt

MERCEDES Corby is suing the Australian Federal Police in what is believed to be a row over their attempts to seize any money paid to her sister for an exclusive TV interview.

Lawyers for Mercedes Pearl Esma Corby lodged the documents today at the Federal Court registry in Sydney.

The development is yet another twist in the Corby saga after armed agents from the Australian Federal Police raided Channel Seven offices last week to search for documents relating to an exclusive deal for a paid interview with convicted drug trafficker Schapelle Corby.

The case has been listed for its first mention today before Justice Jayne Jagot in Sydney.
