Massive home, boating, camping expo back for 25th year

THE Sunshine Coast Home Show and Caravan, Camping and Boating Expo is gearing up for its 25th year, with the annual event set to be bigger than ever before.

During last year's event exhibitions covered a massive 47,999sq m, and organisers Australian Events announced the exhibition space would be expanded for this year's event on October 13-15.

Exhibition displays will encompass the entire Kawana Sports Precinct, along with a 1275sq m free-standing, air-conditioned pavilion housing almost 90 indoor exhibition sites.

An Australian Events spokesman said the quarter century milestone came as the expo attracted increasing demand from exhibitors, with an influx of site bookings when the event launched in May, forcing organisers to expand the facilities.

"This huge milestone is true testament to its stellar reputation among exhibitors and visitors alike," the spokesman said.

"The general public are welcomed to browse a wide variety of products, compare prices and chat to industry experts all in the one convenient location.

"There will be something for everyone at the 2017 Sunshine Coast Expo with everything on display from outdoor adventure products to home and outdoor living ideas and lifestyle products."

The expo will be held at the Kawana Sports Precinct at Bokarina.
