Mackay man missing at sea

1pm: A Mackay man has been missing at sea for three days after setting out on a fishing trip.

The 79-year-old man failed to return from a fishing trip to Prudhoe Island, off the coast of Sarina, on Thursday night.

He left the Sarina boat ramp on Thursday morning about 8.30am for an overnight fishing trip in his 5.2-metre vessel.
