IF YOU are looking to build a home in Toowoomba but don't know where to start, the House and Land Expo is the place to be.

The city's third House and Land Expo, run by Colliers International land specialist Brad Lipp, will be held on Saturday near Harvey Norman at 918-922 Ruthven St.

From 9am to 2pm residents can meet with Mr Lipp, known as the "land man," along with other specialists to talk about quality homes, sheds and pools. There will also be solicitors and lenders in attendance. 

Last February, the expo launched as a real estate first in Toowoomba, with a team of businesses coming together to provide information for aspiring builders and home owners.

It was then held again in September.

Mr Lipp described it as a one-stop shop for everything people needed to build their dream home.

He has more than 80% of the land for sale in the Toowoomba region and knows what he's talking about when it comes to buying and selling land.

"We wanted an event that was informative and a one-stop shop for anyone looking to build and purchase land," Mr Lipp said.

"We are targeting home buyers whether it be first-home buyers, those who are up-sizing or downsizing and investors."
