Little Theatre concert for global issues

STANTHORPE'S Little Theatre will be the setting for a music concert to fight for human rights.

The third annual variety concert, hosted by Amnesty's Stanthorpe action group, will take place on Friday, October 13, at 7pm to raise awareness for Amnesty International campaigns.

This year the focus is on the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum, as well as indigenous rights issues.

The Stanthorpe group is excited to hold the concert for the third year in a row.

A representative said both previous concerts were very successful and the group was thrilled with the reaction from the local community.

Tickets will be sold at the door - adult $10, concession $8, child $5.

Supper will be provided.
