Will this sick girl join The Wiggles' hot potato floor?

DREW Brownhill-Feain, 2, of Lismore, spent the first four months of her life in the Mater Children's Hospital in Brisbane after being born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, which gave her a 40% chance of survival.

That hasn't stopped Drew from developing a healthy love of The Wiggles and Vegemite.

Drew is an avid fan of the series, dancing and singing along to her DVD's and may have had the chance to watch her heroes if not for a slight hiccup.

Tickets have sold out for the Lismore show next Tuesday.

Now Drew's father, former Northern Star journalist Dominic Feain, is writing a letter to see if the iconic stars may be able to assist in a chance for Drew to get on the hot potato floor.

Mr Feain said that Drew had developed a love of The Wiggles from a very early age and had genuinely enjoyed all of the music.

"The music was instrumental in her recovery when she was going through all that very difficult stuff," he said.

"We are not necessarily looking for a ticket but even if Drew got to meet Emma, her favourite character, that would mean the world to her.

"Hopefully we will send it through and see what happens."

The Wiggles will play their sell out show at Lismore City Hall on Tuesday, August 9.
