LifeFlight airlifts man from paddock after chest pains

A MAN in his 60s has been airlifted to hospital after suffering chest pains on his Maranoa property.

RACQ LifeFlight's Roma-based Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service rushed the man to Roma Hospital last night at about 7.30pm.

Emergency services were contacted when the patient suffered chest pain and an elevated heart rate.

The helicopter crew landed in a nearby paddock on the property, and was met by paramedics.

QAS initially treated the patient before transporting him across the property to the helicopter.

The patient was airlifted in a stable condition to hospital for further treatment.
