LETTER: Why the why?
STEVE Hall in his letter proselytes his belief in the infallibility of science which can only attempt to answer the how but never the why.
I find it a curiosity the spacecraft Juno achieved a remarkable 2.8 billion kilometre journey to Jupiter with amazing precision.
This has resulted, naturally, in much celebration by the scientific community at accomplishing such a feat yet there appears to be no wonderment at the precision necessary for the creation of this wonderful universe by God.
It is at this point the logical mind descends to the puerile and unscientific theory of a random explosion or creation from nothing.
As Mr Hall enjoys the use of analogy we may assume the Mona Lisa didn't require the brilliance of Leonardo da Vinci but resulted from a random paint spill and the glory of such a creation can be ascribed only to the observer.
