Legends of Tomorrow S1E1: Pilot, part one preview
PREVIEW: A NEW stable of superheroes are set to take off as DC's Legends of Tomorrow finally premieres.
Legends of Tomorrow is the third television show based on DC Comics' properties, after Arrow (now in its fourth season) and The Flash (now in its second season).
It will feature as many as eight main characters, almost all of whom have featured on either Arrow or The Flash before.
This season's Arrow/Flash crossover episodes introduced two more vital characters - Carter Hall/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) - while Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) left Arrow after she was resurrected in the Lazarus Pit.
They will join Dr Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh), who combine to make Firestorm, Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer/The Atom, and former bad guys Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Mick Rory/Heatwave (Dominic Purcell).
