Braking the Cycle needs mentor sand learner drivers

A PROGRAM to help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds learn to drive is looking for mentors and learner drivers.

The Braking the Cycle program in Lowood is open to people aged 16-25 who have a current learner's licence and are struggling to complete their logbook hours due to limited access to a vehicle or appropriate supervision.

Learners must have a valid learner's permit and a minimum 10 hours completed in their logbook.

Mentors need to have an open licence, blue card and be available for 90 minutes every Tuesday.
