Learn how to master pasta making at ravioli workshop

UNLESS you are a trained chef, making pasta can seem difficult to the average at-home cook.

But now residents can learn how to make the perfect ravioli at Grand Central's Masta the Pasta workshops this Sunday.

Italian chef Carmel Carmichael will guide workshop participants through a two hour hands on ravioli pasta making workshop.

Grand Central marketing manager Marieke Bridgeman said it would be a fun day for those who enjoyed cooking.

"After arriving in the kitchen at the Market Room, participants will be talked through every step to create fresh, handmade ravioli with a spinach and ricotta filling that even Nonna would be proud to eat," she said.

There are two sessions to choose from, 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 3pm.

Tickets can be bought through Eventbrite for $45 per person.

Participants will take the pasta they made home, along with a bottle of Neapolitan sauce and a recipe card so they can make the pasta and sauce again.
