Labor's issues remain

G BROUGHAM (QT 23/4) seems to believe that because the coalition stopped the flood of refugee boats that the cost of keeping these people off and onshore has stopped.

It is costing taxpayers a reported $1.3 million a day to keep illegals offshore and almost another $2 million a day in social security for the tens of thousands here.

Don't for a minute think that because Labor had gone the problems they created have also disappeared.

As for power bills; according to the AAAC power bills rose by 103.1% during Labor's reign and over the 2014-2015 period after scrapping the carbon tax bills have dropped by average $120.

Not a huge saving but imagine what they would be like if Labor won the last election.

My advice is be wary.
