Kingaroy model mingles with the stars

A FORMER Kingaroy model was lucky enough to win a competition to attend the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles last month.

Kellie Anne Lincoln won her trip to the awards show through a competition by cosmetics giant L'Oreal.

The competition asked participants to take an eye make-up selfie using two L'Oreal products.

"I met Jimmy Fallon and had a selfie with him. He was really nice, he was lovely. I also met met Terrence Howard - only two celebrities that I met.

"It was such a good experience," Ms Lincoln said.

Ms Lincoln wore a dress from Sydney Boutique Brides by Franchesca and wore a designer gown by Berta Brides.

She also wore diamond jewellery by Star Fire Jewellery from Brisbane.

"I felt like a million dollars and was styled by Fashion Weekly Magazine," she said. "Getting dressed up in amazing designer clothes and jewels and meeting Jimmy Fallon would be a highlight."

Ms Lincoln grew up in Kingaroy before moving to Brisbane to pursue a modelling career.

The Emmy Awards recognise excellence in American television.
