Kepnock student nominated for diversity award

JYE Leet from Kepnock has been nominated for the Access Community Services & Multicultural Youth Queensland (MyQ) Cultural Diversity Award, one of eight categories in the Queensland Young Achiever Awards.

The awards aim to encourage, reward and most importantly promote the positive achievements of young Queenslander up to and including 29 years of age.

We congratulate Jye Leet for being nominated and wish them the best of luck with judging on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Nominations are open in the following categories until Friday, January 29, 2016:

  • The Coffee Club Arts and Fashion Award
  • AustralianSuper Career Kick Start Award
  • IFly Online Achievement Award
  • Wade Sawmill Environment and Sustainability Award
  • Access Community Services-Multicultural Youth Queensland (MyQ) Cultural Diversity Award
  • The University of Queensland Create Change Award
  • BB Print Leadership Award
  • Kennelly Construction Aboriginal Achievement Award

Finalists will be presented and winners announced at an Awards Gala Presentation Dinner at The Royal on the Park Hotel, Brisbane on Friday, May 20, 2016.

Category winners will each receive $2000 thanks to Auswide Bank and a magnificent trophy.

One of the eight category winners will be chosen as the 2016 Queensland Young Achiever of the Year and will win an additional $2,000 thanks to Auswide Bank and a state trophy.
