Johns Carey

IT is always a pleasure to run into our old mate John Carey, a cousin of Wayne, from Hobart. It was a pleasure indeed, when he recently stopped by at the Caltex at Epping Forest for a cuppa on his way from Hobart to catch the SeaRoad ferry at Devonport.

John was driving a SeaRoad 525 Hp 2010 T-408 at the time and towing a couple of boxes. John (also known as John Kemp) had just finished moving to his new Bellerive manor, "Ardon Park", where all friends and Roos fans will be most welcome!

He tells us he has been with SeaRoad for about a year now, and it's a great job, and a great bunch of fellows. He also told us that our old friend Wade McHugh recently stopped traffic in Launceston when, suitably lycra clad, he fell off his pedal and dismounted, bike and all, in front of an astonished traffic warden.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery mate, we do hear the accident is now a hit on U-tube! Also we would like to join John in wishing Howard all the best as he takes up boxing again… well done mate!
