Jett takes up Ninja Warrior challenge

HE'S lightning fast in the surf, but how will Jett Kenny fare on Australian Ninja Warrior?

The Coast ironman, surf lifesaver and model will test his athleticism on TV's toughest obstacle course tonight.

Jett, 23, is amongst a bigger crop of famous faces taking on the Ninja Warrior course this year in TV's newest ratings juggernaut.

The son of two Olympians, Lisa Curry and Grant Kenny, Jett hopes his competitive spirit will hold him in good stead.

"With my parents being who they are, I've got some big boots to fill," he said.

"I'm never not competitive, even in small things.

"Ninja Warrior is a new challenge, but if you're not first you're last… This course is not going to defeat me."

Grant, Lisa and her new husband Mark Tabone will all be seen cheering Jett on from the sidelines. 

This won't be Jett's only TV appearance this year. He will also bare all in Channel 7's TV event The Real Full Monty, which is expected to air in the coming months.

Ninja Warrior airs tonight at 7.30pm on Channel 9.
