Jett Kenny to go Full Monty for men's health
SUNSHINE Coast Ironman Jett Kenny is set to bare all for a one-off reality television event The Real Full Monty, in a push to raise awareness for men's health.
Kenny's athletic physique will come in handy as he strips with seven other prominent sportsmen, actors and TV stars, like NRL great Matt Cooper, AFL star Campbell Brown and actor Shane Jacobson.
The Channel 7 documentary aims to raise awareness for men's health, breaking down barriers preventing blokes from getting checked for prostate and testicular cancer.
Viewers across Australia will see the full journey from the awkward first rehearsal, through to the triumphant final performance as the performers leave nothing to the imagination.
Jacobson, best known for his 2006 film Kenny, will also host the show while choreographer Todd McKenney will be responsible for taking the celeb's routine from red face-inducing to raunchy.
The show is inspired by the 1997 British hit comedy-drama film The Full Monty, which told the story of six unemployed men who became Chippendale dancers to get by.
The film immortalised the Tom Jones song You Can Leave Your Hat On, to which the cast performed an iconic striptease dance.
A Real Full Monty television series depicting celebrities performing the film's classic striptease act has already aired in Britain, with a second series set for this year.
