Nick Smith

IT WAS also good to catch up with our old friend Nick Smith AKA "Big Nick" from Hobart at the Epping Forest Caltex Roadhouse and Truckstop when he dropped in for lunch there the other day.

Nick was driving an eye-catching SeaRoad Logistics 2007 T-604 with a 600 Hp C-15 cat up front and towing a distinctive Cadbury B-double at the time on the return leg from Devonport to Hobart.

He tells us he has been with SeaRoad for a couple of years and he finds them to be an all-round good outfit and he loves the job. He also likes the truck and says it runs a bit better now since Johnny got another one. He happily stood for a photo with Karen Saunders who tells us that she and Marty Millner are shortly moving to Campbelltown, and that they are now grandparents. Congratulations Emily and Adam and welcome to three-month-old baby Phillipa.
