It takes Mud, Sweat, Tears and spirit

COMMUNITY organisations in Bundaberg have reaped the rewards of the recent Mud, Sweat and Tears charity concert.

Three Bundaberg community groups each received an $8500 donation yesterday from the proceeds of the benefit concert.

Organiser Craig Walsh of Bundaberg Live said he was delighted by how much money had been raised and could not thank the Bundaberg community enough.

The donations were given to the Bundaberg SES, the Salvation Army Tom Quinn Centre and the Bundaberg Rural Fire Brigade.

"It's great to see support for these great organisations," Mr Walsh said.

Certificates were also present to volunteers and sponsors of the event, including the NewsMail.
