Indonesia calls for 20 years jail
PROSECUTORS have demanded a 20-year jail term for a woman accused of killing her friend with cyanide in a cafe in Jakarta, describing the alleged murder as premeditated and sadistic. Indone- sian Jessica Wongso is an Australian permanent resident who has studied in Sydney. She is being tried over the death of a Mirna Salihin in January. Police allege Ms Wongso spiked Mirna's iced coffee with cyanide as they dined with a friend in Jakarta, although three Australian experts have testified there is no proof cyanide was the cause of death.
