'If you don't like your job, find another one'

"THE money is never enough for what you have to sacrifice... but it is what it is.”

That's the view of Tom Boston, who shared his thoughts on truckie's wages after reading his fellow truckies feelings on the issue.

His sentiment was shared by many others, including Rodney Stacks Stelter.

"Each to their own, really,” he said.

"I used to be in it for the love of trucks and driving, then yep, the dollars.

"Now it's a job that pays reasonably. Yep, sacrifice time away as my boys are growing up. But the bills are paid, they pretty much have everything they need not want. Rarely work on a weekend these days.”

David Crane said truckies "did it for the love, not the money” and Keith Morrell said if you didn't like your job, then find another one.

"There are a lot of better paying jobs that will get you home every night if you don't enjoy it. If you are only doing it for the money you're in the wrong industry if you ask me.”
