'A shame': Heartbreak as huge Gladstone star loses job

GLADSTONE reacted with heartbreak to losing one of its iconic radio personalities. Iconic.

>>Iconic Gladstone star loses job, city heartbroken

Peter Hansen: There goes a cool radio personality. The breakfast program has not been the same since the rebadge and programming change (yes-it was obvious!)

About time Austereo learned not to stuff with things that work in the name of saving a few more dollars by more commonality of program style.

Maybe time to change to another network at breakfast time!

Abby Brumby: No! He was the only reason why I turn my radio on in the morning.

Amanda Schafer: Funny, I had noticed his absence this week, and was wondering this morning if he had left.

Megan Castles: Oh how sad, Carly and Ben were an awesome team. My favourite so far.

Prudence Laetitia Redman: What a shame, Ben was the only reason I listened to that radio station.

Bretto Harko: They have a fair turn over of morning hosts!

Djuran Milo Johnson: Yeah my sister in the middle of this manages to lock both her car keys in her car before this picture though, haha.

Brent Barnes-Mayman: So only one local, I suppose it's better than none at all.

Christopher Kellow: On ya dave! Top bloke!

>>$300m mega-project with 2400 jobs wins approval

Kay Lynette Marks: All these jobs, my god, if it is true, well when do they start or are they like the rest of them?

David Stevens: It's 62km north of Rockhampton, not really good news for Gladstone, Rocky maybe.
