LNP candidate James Lister holds a clear majority of votes across the Southern Downs, but figures indicate his margin hasn't been so decisive in Warwick.

He currently has just more than 41 per cent of the vote in the region, but Mr Lister's tallies across Warwick didn't match that number.

Across the 4392 formal votes, Mr Lister scored 37.6 per cent of votes. However his rankings were much higher in Allora (44.17 per cent) and Killarney (49.63 per cent).

Labor's Joel Richters was well supported in Warwick in comparison to his overall tally of 16.94 per cent.

Within the four booths, Mr Richters amassed a total of 20.83 per cent of the votes, but couldn't get above 14 per cent in Allora and Killarney.

One Nation had a nominee in the Southern Downs for the first time since 2004, and would be pleased with the response candidate Josh Coyne received. He managed to draw 21.83 per cent of votes across Warwick.

Rob Mackenzie's numbers in the Rose City, the largest site in the Southern Downs, weren't great.

Mr Mackenzie had 11.71 per cent of the votes, compared to a strong showing in his home town of Goondiwindi, where he landed 41.27 per cent of the 2149 formal votes.
