Is Ed Sheeran already hitched?

LOOKS like Ed Sheeran has put a ring on it.

The Shape of You singer sent fans into a frenzy, sparking speculation he has already wed his long-term girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn.

Sheeran was pictured wearing a plain, gold wedding ring on his left hand at his London concert at O2 Arena.

The British-born couple, who went to school together at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham, are private about their romance.

Sheeran announced his engagement to Seaborn - who worked as an advisory consultant in New York - on social media in December: "Got myself a fiance just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx".

Sheeran and Seaborn rekindled their romance in 2015, with Sheeran crediting his BFF Taylor Swift for having a hand in getting them together.

Swift and Sheeran spoke about it in a behind the scenes video for their duet, End Game.

"I wanna talk about the Fourth of July line because that makes me really happy," Swift, 28, told Sheeran in the clip.

Sheeran responded: "Well, you see, it's kind of a play on words - well, not really a play on words.

"There's a film with Tom Cruise called Born on the Fourth of July. My relationship started on the Fourth of July."

Swift chimed in: "At whose house?"

Sheeran said: "At Taylor's house. So the story was, I was at Taylor's party, and then a girl I went to school with who's pretty cool ended up being in Rhode Island … I was like, 'Taylor, can she turn up?' And here we are."
