Healthy effects of exercise through dragon boating

RAINBOW Dragons Abreast (RDA) are breast cancer survivors who have chosen to take responsibility for their health, well-being and fitness through participation in the sport of dragon boating.

Members find paddling enhances their physical and emotional well-being within a context of caring companionship.

Members enjoy the challenge, friendship and exercise component of paddling regardless of age, fitness level, cultural background and interests.

Breast cancer survivors (male or female) are encouraged to live an active and adventurous life.

Long-term survivors may be able to provide guidance and support for new members who are on the breast cancer journey, allowing the survivor to have more confidence in dealing with issues that may arise in getting back to good health.

Since the clubs' inception members have won trophies in local, state, interstate, national and international regattas. For more information, visit: www.rainbow dragons.com.au
