Gympie women offered free mental health information session

HAVE you experienced or cared for someone with anxiety, depression, stress or post-natal depression?

Would you like to know more about these conditions?

Mental Health Matters is a one-off information session for women on Thursday, May 28 addressing symptoms, management and common treatments.

The sessions starts at 10am (please arrive by 9.45) and finishes at noon.

Facilitating will be Gympie and District Women's Health Centre counsellor Fiona Herrington, who has a background in mental health and holds a Masters Degree in Social Work.

Venue is the Gympie and District Women's Health Centre, 21 Alfred St, Gympie (near the Gympie General Hospital).

There is no charge for the session, but bookings are essential. Phone the centre on 5483 6588 to book, or drop into reception.
