Have our truckies kept their Ocsober vows?

NUMEROUS truckies around our great country will be growing moustaches during November to help raise money for charity.

Called "Movember" the event raises funds which go to awareness and research into men's health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male mental health.

It commenced in 2006 and since then many of our champion community drivers have participated.

Whilst on the subject, Spy can report on results from some truckies who were part of the Ocsober campaign.

Ocsober is a national fundraising initiative by Life Education to reduce drug and alcohol related harm in young people.

Participants vowed not to drink alcohol during October to raise money for charity.

Spy knows of 10 truckies who were involved and nine of them claimed they kept their vow. The other gent said he did get tempted for one day when he attended a birthday party.
