OPINION: Harsher penalties for drug dealers

Even though the law allows for drug dealers to be jailed for up to two years and fined $11,000, Magistrate Robyn Denes directed the offender to "enter into a good behaviour bond for 18 months"
Allowing dealers to cultivate and sell a highly dangerous drug is a basic injustice to society. How many of the dealers' customers become psychotic schizophrenics and go out and abuse their partners, commit serious crime like murder and rape and grand theft while under the influence of drugs?
How many of the dealers' customers continue to self-stupefy themselves?
This intolerable situation has to end, and the law needs to adopt the severest punishments for drug dealers. Now.
