Grant Denyer calls time on Sunrise gig
SUNRISE "weather girl" and V8 Supercar driver Grant Denyer has bowed out of his role on the breakfast TV show so he can spend more time with his family.
Denyer, who has been in the role on-and-off for the past 10 years, made the announcement on-air this morning.
"Now that Sailor is nearly two she probably needs to find out who her dad is, which is me," he said.
"It's the best job in the world, but I also created my own worst nightmare - travelling every day."
He followed the on-air announcement up with a Tweet confirming the decision.
