SCHOOL SPORTS: The Gracemere Interschool Challenge will reach its exciting climax with two grand finals to be played at St Paul's School this afternoon.

Waraburra State School will feature in both deciders, taking on St Paul's in the netball final at 3.30pm and then Gracemere State School in the football final.

The three schools have taken their friendly rivalry onto the sporting fields in their own competition this year, cementing bonds of friendship and camaraderie.

The Gracemere Hotel sponsors the challenge and its director, Gavin Pitts, said he was proud to support local junior sport within the Gracemere community.

Parent Quentein Comollatti said the challenge was a fantastic concept, which gave young athletes the chance to develop their skills, teamwork and ties within their own community.
