$50 stall spot to give Gladstone businesses a boost at expo

IF YOU'RE a business owner or part of a community group and have $50 spare, you could have you very own stall in the 4680 Expo to be held in Gladstone in November.

The small fee secures a standard 3x3 site, expo organiser Kelli Jackson of KType Creative said she was excited for local businesses and community groups to get on board.

"By lowering the price of a site we are hoping it encourages more sites to be booked and hence promote the local Gladstone product.

"If it does get a great response, and the event runs smoothly we would like to hold it annually, even twice a year."

"The idea of the 4680 Expo is to highlight everything the region has to offer, everything in our postcode." Kelli said with the huge response already received for the 4680 Expo to be held, she was almost having trouble looking for a spot big enough for it to be held.

"It's fantastic, we already have GAPDL, some of the councillors, community groups, and Anthony Breed Music on board, plus more.

"The reason for holding it in November is instead of people Christmas shopping online, the expo will be a much better alternative, and will also help the Gladstone economy asa whole."

To attend the expo there will be a gold coin donation, and the proceeds will go towards a local charity.

"Charities can also apply to the beneficiaries of these proceeds."
