Geoff Hardy

PASSING by the Caltex at Epping Forest the other day we caught up with Geoff Hardy from Devonport when he dropped in for a quick rest break.

He was driving an eye-catching 2010 Chas Kelly T-658 Westport gas-powered truck and towing a drop deck trailer loaded with gas bottles. Geoff was on his way from Hobart to Burnie via Launceston and Devonport at the time.

He tells us he has been with Chas now for 16 years, and he reckons they are a great crowd to work for and with.

He is also pretty happy with the gas-powered Kenworth, and says it has been running like a charm, well so far at least
