HUNDREDS of Kingaroy townfolk turned out to see South Burnett Regional Council Mayor Keith Campbell grant the Freedom of Entry to personnel from the Defence School of Signals Electronic Warfare Wing.

The ceremony involved the wing marching, armed through town before they were intercepted by Kingaroy Police Sergeant Scott Prendergast.

He allowed them to pass and the military personnel assembled for and official greeting and inspection by Cr Campbell.
